CAR MOULD TREATMENT

Permanently removing mould from vehicles is an extremely complex, difficult and time consuming process.

By the time you are seeing visible signs of mould in your car, it has unfortunately been there at least 14 days and very likely spread spores throughout the vehicle. Visible mould generally doubles in growth approximately every 48 hours.

Mould is a bio hazard and may cause severe health issues. You should try to avoid driving your car until it has been treated. If you must drive the vehicle – please make sure you limit the trips as much as possible, wear a mask (your old covid face nappy would be better than nothing!) and keep the window down at least a little to ensure you are personally exposed to as much clean air as possible.

So what to do next?

First step is to call us as soon as you notice mould in your car. Don’t wait around! Mould treatment is time critical in terms of cost and effectiveness of first treatment.

Pricing for full car mould treatment starts at $880 and we will require the vehicle at our workshop for a minimum of 3 days. Some cars may require several weeks depending on the circumstances. Cost can vary depending on the severity of spread, type of mould and whether partial vehicle interior disassembly is required.

Car Mould Treatment can only be carried out at our workshop and must always be booked in advance.

At the very minimum we will require photos to get an understanding of the infestation and be able to provide you with an estimate.

Mould treatment comes with a guarantee of eradication. For the first 14 days after treatment, you cannot have food or liquid in the car. After 28 days, if there is no reappearance, then your car is officially cured of the mould plague!

We currently have a 96% success rate in complete mould eradication after first treatment. In the rare instance you get mould returning within the 28 days, we will take the car back, do further investigation to find the source point and re do treatment at no cost to you.
